    Take down the lights. The wreath lies in the trash. Barely winter, really? Truffles more appreciated now. Champagne too. Spread the salt, don’t slip on the ice. Where do birds sleep in January? Nests seem unfair. Hibernate now. Soon it will be warm, And you’ll emerge. -C Sandrin

    Tent Rocks National Monument. 59 degrees and windy. Woke feeling jealous of snow that’s hitting the eastern part of the country. Seems that here it’s been 55, sunny, dry, and brown for weeks. Well, might as well get out there and enjoy it rather than complain!
