Here we are. How has your paradigm shifted and where do you find yourself tonight, on the eve of Lunar New Year and just over one month into 2024?

I find myself on my couch with COVID, my first ever official case, though I do think I had it in December of 2019, a few months before we knew it was a thing. A big thing. I’ve been on the couch for four days and just now feel like I might have energy at some point again, maybe tomorrow.

But, besides that, I find myself starting to come up with a plan, a vibe, a feel for the year. I rarely know how that will take shape until around my birthday at the end of March and this year is no different. Until COVID took me out, I’d been too busy finishing the TV show I began working on last spring to think of anything else. Six weeks until wrap.

But, I’ve begun making little plans, step by step. Pay off debt. Buy a new computer that can handle the programs I want to run. Save money.

I can feel the shift of Pluto moving from Capricorn into Aquarius. There’s that “what if” vibe from last year that I am holding onto because, really, it’s now so obvious that none of us really have a clue. Any form of pretend certainty is so yesterday. So, looking forward, why not choose the adventure?
